About The Author

Dr Alan Schwartz is a retired, holistically-oriented family practitioner with extensive experience evaluating and successfully treating children with autism and autism spectrum disorders using the biological approach pioneered by the late Dr. Bernie Rimland.

He is a graduate of Cornell University and the State University of N.Y. Down State Medical Center, and a former Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Kansas Medical School in Wichita. He has lectured on a variety of medical topics and has been an autism conference guest speaker. He was invited to present the highly successful alternative at the fourth annual Safe Harbor Conference in Glendale California in 2005.

Dr Schwartz’ concerns regarding the dramatic recent increase in autism led to his investigations into etiology of autism spectrum disorders, which in turn led to the creation of this book.
